The role of Estate Management is to maintain the local authority housing estate. Their activities include litter picking and dealing with illegal dumping in the area.
Estate Management also liaise with the housing office of Limerick City Council in relation to the allocation of housing and transfers. They also offer assistance to those filling in housing application forms.
The Estate Management Officer is based in the Community Centre and offers support to residents groups, such as the Ballinacurra Weston and Prospect Residents Forum.
The Officer is a member of the Regeneration Committee and the Community Consultative Forum and uses their role to act as an advocate for the community in all issues.
The Estate Management Officer is supported by two employees of the Community Services Group who are Community Environmental Workers.
