Welfare Rights and Information Service

We provide a Welfare to Work information service to unemployed people, people on social welfare payments, individuals and organisations working with people facing social exclusion.

The aim of our service is to ensure that unemployed people have access to comprehensive Welfare to Work/Welfare Rights information and advocacy.

Our service is totally free, confidential and impartial.

We can provide information and assistance with issues such as;

  • Jobseeker’s Payments
  • Social Welfare Payments
  • Back to Work options
  • Taxation and Welfare to Work
  • Education and Training options
  • Community Employment
  • Secondary Benefits – including Rent Supplement, Medical Card, etc.
  • And general welfare issues

In addition the section also provides information, support and representation to people making Social Welfare Appeals.
