Expansion of Estate Management Services at OLOL

Members of the community gathered yesterday to launch the expansion of Our Lady of Lourdes’ Estate Management scheme.

The aim of Estate Management is to ensure a safe and clean community, doing such things as removing litter from green areas around the estates of Our Lady of Lourdes.

The purchase of a new pick-up truck, (pictured here along with members of the Estate Management Committee) means that their capabilities are greatly expanded.

Cllr Ger Fahey was on hand to represent Limerick City Council at the launch.

During an unscripted speech, he paid tribute to those involved saying that Our Lady of Lourdes community should be thankful that they have such an active community centre.

A bouquet of flowers was presented to Katherine Kirby, in appreciation for her nine years of work with the Estate Management project.
