2015 has been a very busy year for the Community Centre. Over 80 children attend the crèche every day and over 150 young people are registered with the West End Youth Centre. The café is buzzing and is well supported by the local community. There is a high demand for our adult education classes. Over 600 people go through the Centre every day.
We are very conscious that without the local community we would not have such a thriving Centre. Wishing you and your family a healthy and prosperous New Year. Board and Staff Our Lady of Lourdes Community Services Group.

Tuesday saw the first in what is hoped many nights of entertainment for the elderly members of the community thanks to volunteers from Dell.
As part of the company’s “Make a Difference” programme, volunteers attended and provided music and diversion for free.
If you would like to see what they got up to last week, have a look at our pix.ie album.
All are welcome to come along next week, and indeed every Tuesday!
Members of the community gathered yesterday to launch the expansion of Our Lady of Lourdes’ Estate Management scheme.
The aim of Estate Management is to ensure a safe and clean community, doing such things as removing litter from green areas around the estates of Our Lady of Lourdes.
The purchase of a new pick-up truck, (pictured here along with members of the Estate Management Committee) means that their capabilities are greatly expanded.
Cllr Ger Fahey was on hand to represent Limerick City Council at the launch.
During an unscripted speech, he paid tribute to those involved saying that Our Lady of Lourdes community should be thankful that they have such an active community centre.
A bouquet of flowers was presented to Katherine Kirby, in appreciation for her nine years of work with the Estate Management project.
A full set of photographs can be seen at our pix.ie album.
Hello and welcome to the news section of the Our Lady of Lourdes Community Services Group website.
We are just taking the bubble wrap off the site, and making sure all the screws came with it, (there are always missing screws).
If you find any screws, or see something wrong, you can let us know through the contact information.
